Biography
Clément Gosselin is an internationally renowned researcher in the field of robotics. Among his many contributions, his doctoral thesis propelled the development of parallel robots in the decades that followed. He has published over 700 papers in international journals and conferences, and is co-inventor of over 45 patents. He is the most internationally cited researcher in the field of parallel robots and robotic hands. He has led a large number of research initiatives and collaborated with many companies such as GM, MDA, Amazon, CAE, UKAEA, Festo Didactics, Robotiq, Kinova, and many of his research advances have been licensed to companies. His current research focuses on the design of new robotic architectures for physical human-robot interaction and dexterous grasping.
